Sr. Maryann Dosen
Sr. Maryann was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She entered the School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King – North American Province (Lemont, IL) in 1983 and professed perpetual vows in 1989.
The majority of her ministerial work has been in the high school classroom as a mathematics teacher and a coach of both academic and sports teams. She served as treasurer her Province for nine years before being called to be a member of the Congregation’s general government in Rome for six years.
Maryann holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Northern Illinois University, a Masters of Arts in Math Education and a Masters of Arts in Theology with a specialization in Franciscan Spirituality from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.
Presently Maryann is involved in a variety of ministries which include faith formation, supervision of student teachers and other educational services. She also continues to use her unusual yet God given talent of playing golf to raise funds for charitable causes.
